Growing Old

When I no longer thrill to the first snow of the season, I'll know I am getting older. What do ya think, old yet? Con after a long day on the trail.

Grandparents

When a child is born so is a grandparent. Grandma's exist in places near and far and in many shapes and sizes. the phyiscal space is not important. What is important is that a little child's life be filled with the magic only grandparents can provide. It is this connection - which spans generations-that we nurture and cherish... and we marvel at the magic and joy that grandchildren bring into our lives. Let's capture the true essence of being a groovy grandma (and grandpa), for that matter let's MAKE a difference in the life of a child.

LET IT SNOW

How Many of you can remember the good old snow days. Today reminds of just that. A good book, a mug of your favorite hot chocolate, your favorite puppy(my Chloe) curled up in your lap and the quilt that you finally finished. LET IT SNOW. Hope you have a great cozy evening!

Christmas Eve 2007

Christmas Eve was spent reading stories, decorating cookies, and placing oats and sparkles for Santa and the Elves.

The kids had to make sure that Santa had plenty of cookies and plenty of PEPSI!!!

Max figured Santa wouldn't mind sharing with him!!! :)

And...Santa did find his way to the cabin. At about 6:15 am...the kids were awake and ready to see what Santa had left them.

Christmas 2007

Con and I spent the Christmas break in Island Park at our Cabin. Cody and Mindy and their kids came up on Friday afternoon. Chalet and Cody came up on Sunday. We played a lot of card games, snowmobiled and of course, ate a lot.
We missed the rest of our family that wasn't with us...Jason, Heather, Austin, Dylan, Hailey, Kona & Jared.

We bought a "Mini Z" snowmobile for our grandkids for Christmas. They absolutely loved it.

Conner was the first to take a ride.

Taygan was a little unsure at first but she quickly got the hang of it.

Max cried everytime he had to get off. He even fell asleep while riding with Conner.
