Weekend Project

I decided to finish a few projects this weekend. This cute Buggy Barn was first on the list. It came in a kit. I love kits because you don't have to make any choices about colors. You just take it home, cut, sew and enjoy.
The next project. We didn't get to go to the cabin this President Weekend and so I got started on these cute aprons for my new incoming Beehives for New Beginnings. Our theme is "A Recipe for Success."

Aren't they just toooo cute. They make me think of Spring.

Piano Fun

On Saturday afternoon, our grandson, Conner who is 8 had a piano recital. I am so proud of him. He is impoving all the time. He did an awesome job. I am so mad I forgot my camera. Anyway Conner, WAY TO GO! Keep up that practicing. You are doing great. WE love YOU.

Weekend Fun

I went to Logan this past weekend and we have had some projects that we wanted to get to. On Friday we went to The Bernina Fabric Store and they were having a 30% off sale on the 5th Saturday. They were so nice, they gave us the discount. Well, we should have not even went in . The first trip in we got fabric for a bag ( the chic bag). We didn't quite get that one done. Then we went to lunch at a really fun sandwich shop and as we finished we walked past a STORE THAT WE SHOULD HAVE JUST KEPT WALKNG BY. It was a home decorating store and we saw this runner and we HAD JUST seen the fabric in the Bernina Store and of course we said WE can DO that, so I took a picture with my phone and went back to the Bernina Store and bought fabric for this cute table runner, that was the second trip. Okay, we are crazy. Chalet had seen this line and wanted to make a Valentines Day quilt. So on the third trip which was on Saturday morning Chalet got fabric to make a V-Day quilt.


Friday night was a late one. I brought this cute fabric at The Gathering Place and we made aprons. The puppies were begging to be in the picture. Chalet is holding her new little puppy Daisey, Chloe's sister.

Chloe is ready for bed every night about 8:30 and she can be kinda persistent, but she finally went to bed all by herself.

Just had to snap this shot. She is so dang cute!! We love her.
