A day on the River

We took the boat out yesterday and the dogs loved the wind blowing their ears. Chloe enjoys going on the boat but Gizmo isn't to sure about it all. He is Chalet and Crackers dog and Chloe's dad. What a beautiful day!

Bountiful Scouts

We hosted a group of scouts from Bountiful Mueller Ward. They were working on their 50 mile canoe merit badge. They pitched their tents and had a good time in the water.

Aren't Grandkids the BEST

Conner enjoying the hot tub after his TRI. He looks really mean in his bad to the bone goggles.

This is one tried girl. Her first TRI worn her right out. Check out her tan. She's got some of her Grandmavicki skin

Max loves playing in the water. He fills his little Nemo fish and watches it go.

Tanner got a new pair of goggles to swim with and kept asking "Grandma are my googles scratched?" at least a million times a day. Tanner you look like Superman!

Taygan always has a smile even after the her first TRI.

Tanner hanging out in Grams Party Car

Maxxxy just couldn't make it anymore.

Movie Night

Mamma Mia WOW what is a movie. Merla Streep, (Donna), makes you want to get up and dance in the isles. Carrie Manolkas aka Sophie is quite a cutie. Andy Ketso aka Sky well let's just say HOT. And Pierce Bunting!!!!! One mother, one daughter, 3 possible dad's and a trip down the aisle. You'll love it. The music by ABBA is out of this world. I quess you could say I LOVED IT!

Mini Tri

So, Yesterday I did my first triathlon with my granddaughter, Taygan. We swam and biked. We got out of the pool and was headed for the bikes and SNAP something in the back of my knee went. I just thougth keep moving and everything would be okay. We got on the bikes and went 1 mile and then started the run and I thought again just keep moving but I just couldn't do it, so Cody had to finish the running part. Taygan finished in 16 minutes and was awarded 1st place in her division.

Conner did the swim all by himself. He sure looked liked a swimmer with his swim trunks. Mindy did the biking and running with him. He was he youngest in his division. He finished in 30 minutes. I am so proud of these two kids. They are always willing to try anything. Way to go kids. Thanks for letting Grandma Vicki be part of the first TRI.

Transition from swim and bike. About here is where I felt the SNAP in my knee. Tanner was always there to cheer us on.

And we're off!

Tay coming across the finish line. She really needs a bigger bike.

Tanner was asking Grandma can I go too?
Tay finishing strong

My legs feel like JELLO

Holy Cow, I haven't done any blogging for 1 month. Well I have been a little busy, Girls Camp,Yard Work, Trip to the Cabin (a couple of times), Max's Birthday Party, the first annual Malad Welsh Days Tri in which Cracker jumped in with both feet. So I am going to do better in July. I get to start if off with the 4th of July weekend at the cabin, then off to Logan for a very special day. Austin and Conner are going to be baptised on July 5th Conners 8th birthday. How special to be baptised on your birthday but how cool to be baptised with your cousin who is just 1 month older. WE are so proud of the boys for the choice they have made to be baptised. We love you Austin and Conner.
