Birthday Party

Tanner really wanted Indiana Jones DVD and so Grandma Vicki and Grandpa Con made that request come true.
Max had a party all of his own with Tanner's new truck.

Conner really did enjoy Tanner ice cream cake
Star Wars Talking Card just what I wanted!
More clothes
Cracker showing the little boys how the BIG boys do it in the dirtCan't believe that he is 5 years old. We are so proud of the progress that Tanner made. His is our little blessing from heaven. WE LOVE YOU, TANNER.

Playground Fun

The sun finally did come out and the rain cloud waited for a little while to pour and we got to play at the playground. The kids were so excited!

Max is KING of the slide.
Tanner just being Tanner. He said he was hiding so I couldn't find him.

Weekend Projects

This is Chalet's finished project for the weekend. It is a Country Threads pattern, The Couch Quilt. She used a kit put together at the Gathering Place in Rupert. It is Moda material. It took her just one afternoon to do it. Kits are so nice because you do very little cutting and you don't have to make any decision about the material or patterns. It will look great in one of their bedrooms.

Memorial Weekend

Well, it was kind of a boring weekend in Island Park. There is still snow everywhere and it rained most of the weekend. We came prepared for a long weekend. WEEKEND PROJECTS! Several were finished and several started. The guys watched a marathon of the DEADLIEST CATCH. The gals, scraped, stitched, chalked and of course we all did our share of piggy out. What else is a gal to do on a rainy weekend? Chalet and I did run. She did two & half miles and I did one & half miles. It did rain but we did enjoy the time outside. All in all we had a great weekend.

End of School Year

I have had the privilege of working with Karen Thomas in the Speech Department at Declo Elemetary. I love the students that I have worked with this past year. They all have tried to do their best at whatever I asked them to try or do. Getting your tongue to do things that it has never done before is pretty darn hard. I have to laugh under my breath as I watch them try so hard. On Wednesday I have worked with the Kindergarten kids and I must say that it is truly an experience. Trish Mendenhall is a awesome TEACHER and her Para, Emily Maestas is so good with those little guys. I am sad to see school end because I will miss all of my students. Everyone have good summer and I will see you in the fall.

5K for MS

We put together a Dairy Queen Team to walk-run a 5K for MS. Our team was Chalet, Kona, Cara (Chalet's mother-in law), Bonnie(Cody's grandma), Jaymie (Chalet's sister-in-law),Patrice (my good friend) and Me. What a beautiful morning to go for a run-walk. Patrice was really the runner in the group. Chalet is training for a 1/2 Marathon this summer and she is doing awesome. Kona was a trooper. Bonnie can keep up with the best of them. Jaymie, well she is young and full of life. Cara and I did okay, if we could just get rid of the shin splints. Thanks girls for a great morning!

Taygan My Little Dancer

We were able to attend Taygan's Spring Recital on Saturday and what a little performer Cody and Mindy have on their hands. You all know the time when the props are not placed just right and one little girl is left to find hers. Well, Taygan had to do just that and may I say she did it with grace and a big smile. You can sure tell she belongs to her Grandma Kathy. I don't know if it was the BIG BEAUTIFUL eye lashes or her smile, but there is definitely a connection there.
Taygan keep practicing and remember Life Is A Dance and You Learn As You Go!

No Name

I have been a slacker on my Blog. Jason and Heather named their new daughter Savannah Lynn and she is a cutie.
