My friend Jenny and her daughter Stephanie had a baby shower for Jaycie and Chalet. Got to see a lot of friends that we haven't talked to for years. Well, Chalet's cheer coach from high school came. She always thinks of the darnest things. She and her daughter gave Jaycie a darling little stuffed puppy and on the card it said, "Now you have one of your own just like mom and grandma. I know she thinks we are crazy women with our puppies! Thank Gwen and Celese.

Car Seat Covers
This is one of my lastest projects.. One of Chalet's co-workers is going to be having twin girls in April and she asked me to make a couple of car seat cover for the babies. She picked the material out and I went to sewing. They turned out pretty cute. It was fun!
They remind me of Minnie Mouse's dresses.

I got to spend a few days with my Jaycie. Chalet had Dr. appointments in SLC so Grandma Vicki to the rescue. We got alot of bonding time, face time and just hanging out time. Loved every minute of that. She's decked out for St Patty's Day. That smile is to die for. She is really starting to reconize faces and voices. She knows when her daddy walks in the room and starts talking to her.
Love those little toes!
The swing is a new toy. Looks like it will work to keep her happy:)

Moon Shine Work
Well, this is the fruits of a long winter. Con got the shop done last fall and so he needed a project for the winter. I call this the "MOON SHINE" machine. Actually it is a furnace, not sure just how it works but I am sure I am going to find out this next winter. He plans to heat the house with it. It runs on used vegatable oil and since we have an aboundance of veggie oil we should be set for the winter.
Happy 8th Birthday Taygan Leigh
Happy Birthday Taygan!
Today is my Taygan Leigh's 8th birthday. I am in awe at how fast these grandkids grow up. When Taygan wants to sit on my lap, I always ask her, Do you think you will want to sit on my lap when you are 16?" And of course there is always, Grandma! with a big laugh to follow. Here are some pictures that reminds me of the good memories with this sweet little girl.
