Well, the stockings are hung, the gift wrapped and it is snowing. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. We did The 12 Days of Christmas for our kids this year and I think they are enjoying it. They are getting to spend some time together as a family ad that is always good. Just want to wish everyone a Merry Christams and a Happy New Year.

All is WELL

Tanner had surgery today to remove a little growth behind his left ear. He had to be in Ogden at 8:00 a.m. and was home to Logan by 1:00 p.m. He is a big trooper. Tanner we are really proud of you and remember that we love you so very much. He is our SUPER MAN!

We had a very quiet day. Dinner at noon, (tradition), a nap and then we went and cut a Christmas tree down, actually, two one for the cabin and one for the house. Con helped light the tree. It is 15 feet so he really had no choice. He had to help. Hope every one ate a lot of turkey and stuffing.

The water was pretty warm and the waves were hard. We did some body surfing.

This is an Indian tribe that flew from a poles that was 80 feet off the ground. The guy in the center stood on a surface of about a foot wide and he danced on it up 80 feet off the ground. They had a rope attached to their foot. It was pretty amazing.

Puerto Vuerarta and the 4x4 jeep ride. We got to experience Mexican make-up, that it what the scarves are for. We went out through the back country and saw a alot of beautiful country and alot of very poor but happy people.

This was the weekend Chalet and Cody were supposed to move into their new house. You know how things go...they didn't get to move in until the next Monday. Cody spent the entire day in the rain, pulling leaves and picking up cement...darn contractors anyway.

Last night was my first night in the "mother-in-law" room...aka "the blue room" and I slept like a snoring baby!

School is OUT!

So, this last week school was out on Wednesday for the teachers to go get smarter. We had a YW activity at the house. We had a BBQ, bonfire and played some really fun games.

The DOT game and yes I did not get it so I took pics.

They loved rolling down the hill in my backyard.

Super Granny Nanny Weekend

I got the joy of going to watch the kids in Logan last weekend. We did the Flat Stanley thing, went bowling, played soccer with Uncle Cracker and Aunt Chalet, made cookies and had a great weekend.

Haycock Family Reunion

We had our Haycock Reunion on Labor Day weekend. We stayed at Jason and Heather's house. On Friday we went to Roaring Springs and then Saturday we hit Boondocks and had a blast.. The grown-ups went back for the evening and some of them were a little to wild on the go carts and were asked to be done for the night.

A day on the River

We took the boat out yesterday and the dogs loved the wind blowing their ears. Chloe enjoys going on the boat but Gizmo isn't to sure about it all. He is Chalet and Crackers dog and Chloe's dad. What a beautiful day!

Bountiful Scouts

We hosted a group of scouts from Bountiful Mueller Ward. They were working on their 50 mile canoe merit badge. They pitched their tents and had a good time in the water.
